Impulse Paper on the Coalition Agreement
With the title "Bioeconomy - sustainable, societal transformation process to achieve the 1.5-degree target", the BÖR recommends in its impulse paper that the new federal government firmly anchor the bioeconomy in the coalition agreement.
The bioeconomy offers many potentials for achieving a more sustainable economy that is based on biological resources and biological knowledge and thus contributing to the achievement of climate protection goals.
For this reason, the German Bioeconomy Council has published an impulse paper for the negotiations of the coalition agreement between the SPD, Bündnis 90/Die Grünen and FDP. The Council recommends that the bioeconomy should be firmly anchored in the coalition agreement of the new federal government as an essential cross-cutting task for achieving the climate protection goals - and in particular the 1.5-degree target.
